Manny to Mets?

Manny Ramirez is looking for a new agent, and hes been talking to Boras, the agent who set up the Gary Sheffield trade to the Braves. Manny requested to be traded midseason and the deal was all set up for him to be sent to the Mets, and the trade hit a bump as the Devil Rays pulled out. The original 3-way deal, according to reports, would have brought Manny Ramirez and Tampa Bay closer Danys Baez to the Mets, moving Braden Looper, Mike Cameron and Tampa Bay’s Aubrey Huff to the Red Sox.
The Devil Rays would then receive top Red Sox pitching prospect Anibal Sanchez, Milledge and top pitching prospect Yusmeiro Petit from the Mets.

The Red Sox and the Mets were most likely going to begin talks again this offseason.
