Feely misses 3 game-winning field goals in Giants overtime loss
Final: Seahawks 24, Giants 21.

The Giants were losing to the team atop the NFC, The Seattle Seahawks, and they came back and tied the game with a two-point conversion with the score 21-21. I’m not sure how they were able to after being called on false starts SO many times, and 5 times on one drive. Soon after, the Seahawks punted, giving the Giants a chance to come up and win the game. The Giants brought themselves into field goal range, but Feely missed the close kick to win the game…So we go into overtime. Soon, Feely misses ANOTHER big kick to win the game in overtime. Soon after, take a guess…yup, you’re right. Misses again. After that, the Giants defense who played great the whole game, gave up a catch, and soon after, the Seahawks kicked the game-winning field goal. I don’t give the blame to the Giants defense…no way, they shouldn’t have even been out there. I don’t even give the blame to Jay Feely, and without him, the Giants wouldn’t have even been able to tie the game because of his field goals during the game. I give the blame to the offensive line, who DID NOT KNOW WHAT THEY WERE DOING. And I won’t give them a break even if the crowd bothered them, they need to deal with it.
Giants beat Eagles
Final: Giants 27, Eagles 17

After a bad first half, Mike McMahon came back and did better but it was not enough. The Giants did much better on special teams and blocking a punt, and scoring a touchdown soon after. The Game was actually close for awhile. Eli Manning threw 3 touchdowns, 1 to Toomer, 1 to Burress, and 1 to Shockey. Toomer got his 500th career catch, and Barber also got his 500th career catch. Also, Tiki Barber is averaging 4.9 yards per carry. He is also second in the NFL in yards from scrimmage with 1,252, 25 behind Alexander. Eli Manning holds the longest streak in the NFL with a touchdown in 11 consecutive games. The Giants are 5-0 while leading at the half this season, and 6-0 while leading at the 3rd quarter.
Next Game: Giants @ Seahawks 4:15 PM FOX
Eagles @ Giants
The big rivalry between the Giants and the Eagles continues tomorrow.

The Giants now have won 3 of their last 4 games, and are hoping to bounce back from the unexpected loss to the Vikings. The Eagles are going to be without their two best offensive players, Owens and Mcnabb.
Most sites and tv shows have been picking the Giants to win this one, especially with the Eagles under .500 and a third string quarterback is starting this week. For more information on the Giants-Eagles big game, go to www.giants.com or www.nfl.com
Final: (you’re not going to believe this) Vikings 24, Giants 21
First of all: Giants fumbled opening kickoff, then at half time, the Vikings returned the 2nd half opening kickoff. Second of all: Eli Manning threw 4 interceptions, 3 going to the same guy, and 1 returned for a touchdown, by the same guy. Third: Passes were underthrown, dropped…just NOT THE GIANTS. The Giants did make a comeback and tied the game with around a minute left on the clock with a two point conversion, but that was too much time to have left, as the Vikings, after the Giants tied, drove fast down to field goal range as Paul Edinger kicked the game winning field goal.

What I don’t understand is that the Giants had 10 seconds on the clock at a little behind midfield after the Vikings scored, no timeouts, but had time to throw the ball out of bounds to reach field goal range. Instead, don’t ask me why, Eli throws the ball up the middle, running out the clock to lose the game to a team that was 3-5 and the Giants were 6-2. Amani Toomer had a good game, not Plaxico Burress, who wasn’t thrown too much, and when he was thrown to, the pass was either intercepted, or thrown too far behind him.
Even on the Viking’s worst offensive performance of the season and without Daunte Culpepper, they still easily managed to win. The Giants defense did good up until the last drive. The
Giant’s own Special Teams is what beat them. They couldn’t tackle or do anything right.
Tom Coughlin’s face…you know his face–and–well—this time it was certainly not one of his good days, if he has any, as he was FLIPPING OUT on the sidelines.
The Giants were 5-2 last year and went 6-10 as they lost to a bad team at the time, the Cardinals, still bad. This year, the Giants were 6-2 and lost to a bad team. Don’t get any thoughts, because it won’t happen again. The Giants, I think will win the division.
Next Game: Eagles @ Giants—–NO T.O. AND NO MCNABB—McMahon is going to start at QB for the Eagles.
Week 10: Vikings @ Giants
VIKINGS AT GIANTS on FOX; My prediction: Giants 35, Vikings 6.

Same old, same old, big rivalry every year, and we are back to it, right? WRONG. No Randy Moss, no Daunte Culpepper, no undefeated Vikings, not the Vikings at home this time. This time the setup has all the betting on the New York Giants, who are 6-2, 1st place in the NFC East, and undefeated at home.
When the Giants have the ball:
Tiki Barber, again should have another good game against another bad team. The Vikings are giving up too many yards this season on defense. The Vikings on defense have been out of position before the snap, not knowing where they are supposed to be, miscommunicating, etc. on Defense.
Entering last week’s game, the Vikings defense have only made 9 sacks, and haven’t been getting to the opposing quarterbacks often. The Giants are expected to pass a lot, and you wouldn’t be suprised if it was Manning to Burress or Manning to Shockey for most of the game. The Vikings CB’s haven’t been doing as good, and with their short guys covering sky-scraping Plaxico Burress, he should jump up and make all of Eli’s throws to him.
When Vikings have the ball:
Minnesota’s running game isn’t doing anything with Mewelde Moore their leading rusher and he only has 1 touchdown on 319 yards and 81 carries. The Vikings are 27th in the NFL in rushing. Bennett has a part time job now and is not expected back next season. Injury is hurting the Vikings this year, and it is affecting their running game.
Daunte Culpepper is out for the year and the Giants no longer need to worry about Randy Moss. Brad Johnson is starting Sunday’s game. Tight end Jermaine Wiggins who is a good option probably will see some catches on Sunday. Marcus Robinson is tall and averages 2 TD’s per game. Nate Burleson is also a good receiver. The Vikings first round pick Troy Williamson should be good in the future.
Sunday, it will not be the Vikings flying home with the win, it will be the Giants staying undefeated at home.
