Giants beat Eagles

November 23, 2005

Final: Giants 27, Eagles 17

After a bad first half, Mike McMahon came back and did better but it was not enough. The Giants did much better on special teams and blocking a punt, and scoring a touchdown soon after. The Game was actually close for awhile. Eli Manning threw 3 touchdowns, 1 to Toomer, 1 to Burress, and 1 to Shockey. Toomer got his 500th career catch, and Barber also got his 500th career catch. Also, Tiki Barber is averaging 4.9 yards per carry. He is also second in the NFL in yards from scrimmage with 1,252, 25 behind Alexander. Eli Manning holds the longest streak in the NFL with a touchdown in 11 consecutive games. The Giants are 5-0 while leading at the half this season, and 6-0 while leading at the 3rd quarter.
