Mets take 1st of 3 vs Yanks

David Wright saved the day against Mariano Rivera, Randy Johnson, and the Yankees. The game started out with the Yankees clobbering the Mets, but the Mets came back. This went on all game until the Top of the ninth, Wagner got the save, and the Mets came and broke a tie in the bottom of the ninth. The Yankees intentionally walked Delgado after Lo Duca’s double, and that cost the Yankees after Wright hit the ball over Damon’s head.
Neither starting pitcher pitched well at all, as I expected, and I thought it was gonna be a high scoring game, I was right.
Beltran homered, Nady Homered, and that was it for the homers, since the rest were done with hits and sac flys.

Jose Lima is so old and horrible at pitching that it is pathetic now. He is 0-3 and hes not getting any better…
BRING UP PELFRY ALREADY.
ALSO, Bannister is expected to make 2 more rehab starts, so the Mets won’t see him for another 2 weeks or so on the field.
