PostGame: Series Ending Walk-off!

Wow…

I wasn’t even able to watch the game and I’m still hopping around and excited about that. The Mets were down 5-1 in the bottom of the 9th before ending it with a Carlos Delgado walk-off single. The Mets bench came through, and from what I heard on Metsblog.com, Willie interestingly pinch hitted David Wright to fill in for Shawn Green, David’s first pinch-hit in his career.

What a win and great momentum heading into this series against the crosstown rivals. The Mets may be out of energy after last night’s late-night win, but they sure are fired up for this series at Shea.

Now it’s time……Let’s kill the Yankees.
