Game 1 score: Mets 6, Phillies 5.
Game 2 score: Mets 5, Phillies 2.
El Duque pitched great in game 1, then John Maine did the same in game two, as he pitched into the ninth inning and let Wagner finish it off. Wagner pitched both games, making it uncertain whether he’ll be availabe for tomorrow afternoon’s game.
Delgado did great in game 1. He was 3-for-4 with a single, double, and homer.
Jose Reyes also hit a homer in game 1 on a low pitch, as he sent it to right field at the stadium in Philly where he says is his favorite to play in.
Carlos Beltran hit two homers in the second game.
Ramon Castro hit an RBI double in game 1, then El Duque hit an RBI single past Rollins.
