Wow, a real game. Not a game against some college team, no more news about El Duque throwing a baseball like a wiffle balls, no more news about players not getting in because of VISA problems… because that was the best news anyone could get.

The New York Mets today will travel to Lakeland, Florida to take on the Detroit Tigers at 1pm . Starting for the Mets will be Mike Pelfrey.
