Mets close out Spring Training
The New York Mets closed out their Grapefrut League schedule with a 9-8 victory yesterday, then hopped on their team plane to New York.
After a long day that included driving in a run during the final spring training game, and waiting out a 2+ hour flight delay, Jose Reyes was still full of energy when the team arrived at CitiField for a tour late last night. You could tell by the look on his lit-up face that he’s ready to get the season going in his new home.
The Mets will face the Red Sox in an exhibition game today at CitiField, with the first pitch scheduled for 6:10 PM. The game will be broadcast live on SNY, with the pre-game coverage beginning at 5:30. For any out-of-town fans, or anyone who just wants to watch on the computer, the game will be free for viewers to watch on MLB.TV
