Beltran may be out longer than expected

After reading about the recovery time for microfracture surgery, it seems that Beltran may miss more than the expected 12 weeks.

According to various medical websites, the surgery is short but the recovery is long, about four months on average.

New York Giants defensive back Kenny Phillips underwent the surgery before the season and missed the ENTIRE season.

This outlook doesn’t appear to be pretty for Beltran and Co.
