PostGame: Mets Win

The Mets beat the Diamondbacks last night by a score of 9 to 4.

Damion Easley, for the third time this year, either tied the game or won the game for the Mets. This time, the Mets were in the top of the ninth down 4-3. Easley crushed the ball over the left center field fence. David Wright followed as the Mets went on to score 6 runs in that inning.

Aaron Heilman, (2-2) got the win for the Mets, as Tom Glavine picked up a no decision. He passed strikeout number 2,503 for his career in the sixth inning, passing New York Giants great Christy Mathewson into 28th place on the all-time list. He is still seven wins shy of 300.
