Mets Win, but Offense is Desperate

The Mets won today, 2-1, so that means our pitching had to win the game. Tom Glavine was great, going eight innings and letting Billy Wagner close it out.

Lastings Milledge, definitley doing his job since coming off the DL, as he singled to score Shawn Green for the decisive run.

The Mets’ offense, whether it will wake up sooner or later, needs to score runs. This team is acting in no way offensively like it was last season, when they were scoring runs by the second.

Reyes was thrown out by a mile today at 2nd, but Wright notched his 20th stolen base of the season.
