Falcons Host Giants this Week

The Giants (3-2) will travel to Atlanta to face the Falcons.

Throughout the years, this matchup has been won by the visiting team, as the visiting team has won the last 11 games.

Eli Manning made his first career start against the Falcons. He threw his first career TD pass to TE Jeremy Shockey.

The Falcons lead the series, 10-8.

The Giants have won three straight games, all after falling 0-2 to start the season. At one point, they were 0-2 while facing the Redskins and down 17-3 at the half. Ever since recovering from that game, the Giants, especially their defense, has been unstoppable. The offense, except for Plaxico Burress, has not been overly effective, but the defense has bailed them out several times.

Plaxico Burress leads the NFL in touchdown receptions (tied with Randy Moss).

Osi Umenyiora leads the NFL in sacks.

Prediction: Giants 31, Falcons 14
