Orlando Hernandez’ brother, Livan, signed with the Minnesota Twins today. The Twins have a young pitching staff, and adding Livan makes it a little bit experienced. The Mets were rumored to sign this guy for quite awhile, but that obviously didn’t happen. There was talk that the brothers wanted to get together and have wanted to play on the same team for a long time.
There were quite a few rumors floating around about what team Livan might head to. The Official Site of the Washington Nationals explained that Livan had recently expressed quite a bit of interest in re-signing with them.
Livan, who turns 34 in just over a week, was 11-11 last season.
